Latency (ms)

The delay between the onset of the peripheral target and the first non-anticipatory fixation. This variable is used to asses Gap and Overlap effects

Anticipatory saccade (%)

Percentage of trials where saccadic movements occurred within 100 ms following target presentation

Erroneous saccade (%)

Percentage of trials where the first non-anticipatory saccade (> 100 ms) was in the wrong direction as requested by the instructions

Gain to first fixation

The ratio between the actual distance travelled during the first saccade and the theoretical distance required to reach the target
